I usually don't buy sets because there's always a few brushes that I don't need and I already have a huge brush collection that I'm trying to declutter. Real Techniques is one of the few brands that I find myself purchasing sets from because there's usually one brush in there that's worth the price alone, which is why I bought the Cheek and Lip Set. I'm sure you guys can figure out which brush that I'm talking about.
Real Techniques Cheek & Lip Brush Set ($19.99, Limited Edition)
All the brushes in this set are made of synthetic, cruelty-free material and feel just as bunny soft as the ones from their permanent line. I haven't experienced any shedding, dye bleeding or funky smell. The names of the brushes are also conveniently written on the handles.
Real Techniques Cheek Brush: The bristles are not as dense as the ELF Selfie Ready Powder brush (review) and the Expert Face brush (review), but it's not as fluffy as the Multi-Task brush (review). It has the right amount of density to provide enough control, but it's also flexible enough to blend product with ease. I find that the size of the head fits nicely on the cheeks and lays down cream blushers and bronzers evenly. All I have to do is use it in a tapping & patting motion and it blends the product into my skin seamlessly. I've been really enjoying it with my Chanel Bronze Universel (review).
It's also excellent for buffing in liquid/cream foundation as it doesn't tug the skin or cause streaking. The paddle shape also allows it to fit nicely underneath the eye area (when used vertically), but it's also large enough for a quick, face application. This one is truly the star of the set. (It measures 6.5 inches in total length.)

Real Techniques Duo Fiber Contour Brush: The white fibers extend farther than the black fibers in order to create a light application. The shape of the brush also allows it to fit nicely on the hollows of the cheeks. Therefore, it works especially well with highly pigmented products, such as the Makeup Geek contour powders, and is ideal for creating a natural contour. It's also great for removing excess powder underneath the eyes without disrupting the concealer, especially for those who "bake." (It measures 6.5 inches in total length. The permanent version (review) of the Setting brush and the one from the Sculpting Set (review) are shown for size reference.)
Real Techniques Lip Brush: The bristles are firm at the base and flexible at the tip. It's ideal for defining and filling in the lips. It can also be used to apply cream/gel eyeliners for those who want to create a quick, thick line. (It measures 5.5 inches in total length. The Sigma E05 is shown for size reference.)
Bottom Line: The quality of this set is just as great as the brushes from their permanent line. I highly recommend checking it out just for the Cheek brush alone. It's a necessary addition to the Real Techniques family and should be sold individually.
Note: The Real Techniques Cheek & Lip Brush Set is limited edition and is available at Ulta and Target.
